about

I make organic, evolving electronic music that blends groove, texture, and emotion. My work sits between downtempo and club-leaning electronica, with a strong focus on movement, feel, and subtle imperfection. Much of my process is shaped by synaesthesia — I experience sound visually, which informs both how I produce and how the music feels. My aim is to create music that moves you — both physically and emotionally.

My music is built slowly and deliberately. Rather than static loops or rigid structures, I want my music to feel alive — with grooves that shift, textures that evolve, and details that reward repeat listens.

I approach production like an intricate collage, stitching together snippets of sound — synthesisers, field recordings and cut up acoustic samples are blended with vocal elements and live instrumentation to create rich, evolving compositions with an emphasis on swing, motion, and the small variations that give electronic music a sense of humanity.

A key part of my creative process is synaesthesia. I experience sound visually, often as colour, shape, and movement, and this heavily influences how I write, arrange, and produce. Decisions are guided as much by how something looks or moves in my head as by traditional musical theory, helping shape the atmospheric and textural world my tracks inhabit.

My name often surprises people who associate it with the British TV show. When I first started releasing music, I spent ages trying to think of a cool artist name — then I remembered my surname is Blackadder. No brainer.

Alongside releasing music, I also work as a producer and mixing engineer, helping other artists bring clarity, depth, and character to their work. I’m currently working towards a longer-form album project, alongside collaborations with vocalists and instrumentalists, exploring a broader emotional range while staying rooted in the same organic, evolving approach.
